Northern Tanzania, the region of large national parks, is bathed by a temperate tropical climate. There are two main seasons: the dry season from May to October and the main rainy season from March to April. The hottest months are from January to early March but the heat is never stifling as the northern part of the country lies on a plateau of 1500m of altitude. The weather is always pleasant and allows trips throughout the year. During the rainy season, the landscapes take on a magical dimension that attracts many photographers for beauty revealed by magical lights.
